Challenge To add nearly 115,000 square feet on three floors with the appropriate connections to serve patient and public, staff and support circulation already established on the hospital campus.
The new orthopaedic operating suites are aligned and connected to the existing O.R.'s and central sterile supply for the hospital.
Solution Six new orthopaedic operating rooms, two procedure rooms, 27 pre-post bays and post-anesthesia care bays, and 54 private orthopaedic patient rooms. The third floor of this project also includes a new 24-bed medical intensive care unit. The project was delivered in eleven months to the Owner, with fast-tracking and schedule management of the construction.
