MKM architecture + design is proud to announce their latest project with Atrium Centers, Inc.
Allendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Community recently hosted an open house to celebrate the grand opening of their recent building project that added 31 private bed spaces to their campus in Allendale, Michigan. MKM architecture + design (MKM) designed the model to help Atrium achieve their goal of being more in line with the specialized care approach hospital and physician providers envisioned while developing the Accountable Care Organizations and the Bundled Payments for Care improvement initiatives.
The project included the following four phases:
Phase 1 – Relocation and expansion of visitor and staff parking areas and driveway for emergency equipment
Phase 2 – 13,400-square-foot rehabilitation addition (31-resident capacity)
Phase 3 – Renovation of half of existing structure (29-resident capacity)
Phase 4 – Construction and renovation of new therapy gym, chapel, physician office, staff training room, and conference room
Allendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Community is one of 17 skilled nursing centers operated by Atrium Centers, Inc. in Michigan.
