Fishbowl Welcomes Matt Kelley

News

Throughout the year, MKM architecture + design (MKM) shuts down our Fort Wayne office to host a public event we affectionately call the “Fishbowl.” It’s an afternoon where we invite some of our closest and most interesting friends to reflect on their careers, share their work, and discuss their ideas. With topics ranging from artificial intelligence to social justice, the Fishbowl is intended to provide an intimate venue to talk, share, and learn about innovations in community health and well-being.

On June 13th at 3:45 p.m., the Fishbowl will feature Matt Kelley. Matt Kelley founded One Lucky Guitar, Inc., a boutique creative agency, in downtown Fort Wayne, IN in 2000. The 10-person firm’s mission is: We communicate brand soul.

Earlier this year, Matt spoke about branding and strategic communications to community foundations from across the state as a keynote speaker in the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance’s catalyst series.

And recently, he delivered OLG’s ‘The Role of Brand in Placemaking’ presentation to more than 300 community leaders in a program offered by the Indiana Arts Commission and Office of Community and Rural Affairs.

For more than two decades, OLG has sought to deliver uncommonly smart work and unbelievably great service to clients that currently include AEP – Indiana Michigan Power, Benchmark Human Services, Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, Foellinger Foundation, Healthier Moms & Babies, Stillwater Hospice, and Steuben County Community Foundation.

Matt co-founded The Good Ones Clothing with Denise DeMarchis of Matilda Jane Clothing, and was a co-founder of the Middle Waves Music Festival and Down the Line at the Embassy Theatre.

He is a past member of the Downtown Improvement District, Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Greater Fort Wayne Inc. boards of directors, and the Regional Opportunities Council.

Matt has three children: Henry, Ruby and Charley.

He writes songs and plays guitar in the band The Legendary Trainhoppers, and is employed as a group fitness instructor at Skyline YMCA.

Doors open at 3:15 p.m. for light refreshments and drinks. The discussion will start at 3:45 p.m. Join us for an intimate conversation with Matt. Seats are limited – reserve your spot today!
