Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne held a ceremonial groundbreaking event to commence renovation of the Arts United Center.
Throughout the year, MKM architecture + design (MKM) shuts down our Fort Wayne office to host a public event we affectionately call the “Fishbowl.” It’s an afternoon where we invite some of our closest and most interesting friends to reflect on their careers, share their work, and discuss their ideas. With topics ranging from artificial intelligence to social justice, the Fishbowl is intended to provide an intimate venue to talk, share, and learn about innovations in community health and well-being.
On August 22nd at 3:45 p.m., the Fishbowl will feature Sarah Strimmenos. Sarah’s experience includes nearly thirty years in the accounting and banking industry before she became the President and CEO of Foellinger Foundation in 2024. Her history with the Foundation dates back 25 years, managing the audit as a CPA at an independent firm for 10 years. She later served on various Foellinger Foundation committees and the board of directors. An avid community advocate, she has dedicated her time to various nonprofit boards, committees, and other volunteer efforts, and believes in their ability to create meaningful change for Allen County residents. A native of Allen County, Sarah enjoys reading, playing golf, and spending Lake Pleasant summers with family and friends.
Doors open at 3:15 p.m. for light refreshments and drinks. The discussion will start at 3:45 p.m. Join us for an intimate conversation with Sarah. Seats are limited – reserve your spot today!
