MKM architecture + design, in partnership with Larson Danielson Construction Co., Inc. was awarded a 2022 Michiana Excellence in Construction Award for contributions to the La Porte County Public Library Exchange. This annual event has recognized owners, architects, engineers, and contractors contributions to outstanding projects for the last 28 years. Award recipients were honored at a banquet on May 26th at the Century Center in South Bend, Indiana.
The project entailed a complete renovation to La Porte’s historical Telephone Building to further expand the La Porte County Public Library’s community offerings. The La Porte County Public Library Exchange is a space designed for learning, collaboration, and hands-on creativity.
