With a long-standing relationship with Ascension St. Vincent, MKM was selected to renovate the Interventional Radiology Lab (IR Lab) Suite on the Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis 86th Street campus. The renovation included finish upgrades to the IR Labs, as well as equipment replacement. The IR Lab equipment produced by GE has very specific tolerances for floor hardness and levelness, requiring specialty flooring that is produced by a single international manufacturer, RPM Belgium Monopur® Floor seamless flooring system. In addition, the flooring has a very specific and rigorous installation with only four contractors in the United States with the qualifications required to perform the installation.

In addition to the IR Lab Suite, our team completed various finish upgrades to the adjoining Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) corridors and support spaces. Finish upgrades were completed in various support spaces including several nurse stations, patient holding bays, and a soiled utilities room. The renovation also relocated some of the support spaces to create a more efficient workflow for the St. Vincent team.
