Design for Ortho NorthEast, a LEED-certified Ambulatory Surgery Center redefined innovation for one of Indiana’s premier orthopedic centers. With an impressive roster of board-certified physicians, qualified medical employees and satellite clinics throughout the area, ONE is among the largest and most experienced specialty centers of any kind in the state. Over the years, they have established an impressive track record of state-of-the-art orthopedic care and pioneering surgical techniques. Today they are leading the way by being the first to offer new minimally-invasive procedures, such as eXtreme Lateral Interbody Fusion back surgery. And, as part of our full continuum of care, ONE has established the region’s only Cartilage Restoration Center, a center of excellence for advanced cartilage repair techniques. Orthopedics is one of the most rapidly changing medical fields around the world, and ONE has continually been on the leading edge of innovation within the industry.

Over the years MKM has repeatedly assisted ONE as they looked to the future. From modest office renovations to large new facilities, our firm has continued to serve the ONE leadership team as they evolve their practice. The most notable project ONE has completed is their SurgeryONE facility. This new free-standing Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is located on the Parkview Regional Medical Center campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and was designed for orthopedic procedures and pain management. In addition to the regulatory requirements governing the building, the projects dedication to sustainable practices is evident by the USGBC’s LEED Silver designation – the first healthcare occupancy to achieve such a rating in the state of Indiana.
