A new multi-story housing development on The Landing better positions downtown Fort Wayne to meet the demand for modern, affordable housing options in a bustling city district.

The Landing Exchange is a new six-story building with 40 housing units, 20% of which will be considered affordable housing, and includes two ground-floor commercial spaces. The site of the $20 million development is on The Landing, on the corner of Harrison and Columbia Street in downtown Fort Wayne, IN. The Model Group is the project developer, working with MKM architecture + design in a continued partnership to develop the district.

Construction for The Landing Exchange is anticipated to begin in early 2025 and be completed in the summer of 2026. MKM architecture + design was also the lead architect on the first phase of The Landing development, which opened in 2020.
