The 2024 Indiana Rural Health Association Conference took place on June 11-12 in French Lick, Indiana, focusing on the theme “Rural Health: Leveraging Opportunities for Change.” Zachary Benedict, AIA, LEED AP, delivered the opening keynote. His address explored the influence of social capital and placemaking on rural healthcare’s direction, emphasizing strategies for healthcare organizations to bolster upstream institutions and the significance of these collaborative ties.
